Level Guide

Our leveling system reflects the needs of our students and complements our curriculum to ensure a safe, comprehensive pole dancing experience. Each class is labeled with a level so that you know which classes are right for you. If you’re unsure if a level is right for you, just ask! We’re more than happy to discuss your pole journey to determine which classes fulfill your needs. Here is what each label means:

  • Designed for brand new students. No experience necessary.

  • Great for both brand new students and experienced students. This is a multi-level class.

  • Available to students after they’ve taken one Welcome to Pole! or Friends’ Night Out! intro class.

You will learn the foundational movements needed for both dance and tricks. Some things you can expect to learn are pole circles, pirouettes, body rolls, climbs, and figureheads just to name a few!

  • This is a multi-level class accomadating both level one and level two students. Advancements and variations are provided to all students.

  • Level three and four classes build upon the skills taught in level two. Ask your instructor if this class is right for you.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST POLE CLASS?

What should I bring?

Water, thats it! We’ll provide everything you need for an amazing first class. For future classes, please bring a pole towel. Handgrip and heels are optional.

What should I wear?

Be comfortable! Basic athletic attire is perfect. Bringing or wearing shorts or spandex can be helpful but is not required. No heels are necessary.

Anything else I should know?

We recommend that you avoid lotion on your hands the day of class. Lotion + sweaty hands = a more challenging grip.
